Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM)
- The minimum admission age is 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year.
- The maximum age for admission in ANM is 35 years old.
- The minimum educational requirements are 10 + 2.
- The student must be medically fit.
- Students who passed the National Institute of Open School’s 10+2 Arts or Science examination are eligible.
- A student may only be admitted once per year.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
- Candidates need to pass 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% on the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board.
- Candidates from State Open Schools are also eligible.
- Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government are also eligible.
- ANM with a pass mark and a registered nurse can apply for GNM.
- Students get the chance of admission once a year.
- Students must be physically and mentally fit.
- The minimum admission age will be 17 years. (as of December 31st of that year)
- The maximum age is 35 years old.
Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
- on December 31st of the year, the student must be 17 years old or above
- Minimum education should be 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with 45 percent aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- The student must be medically fit.
- Students achieved 45 percent in the National Institute of Open School’s 10+2 Science examination.
- A student may only be admitted once per year.
Post Basic B. Sc (N)
- Students who have passed Higher Secondary, Senior Secondary, Intermediate, or 10+2 examinations, or an equivalent exam recognized by the university can join.
- Students who obtained a general nursing and midwifery certificate and registered with the State Nurses Registration Council as an RNRM are eligible.
- A male nurse trained prior to the implementation of the new integrated course, in addition to being registered as a nurse with the State Nurses Registration Council, must show evidence of training which Indian Nursing Council approved for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any of the following areas:

Nursing for Leprosy
Tuberculosis Nursing
Nursing in Psychiatry
Nursing in Neurology and Neurosurgery
